After the first round of 352 units sold out last Saturday, the second round of sale of NOVO LAND 2B in Tuen Mun, the top new property of this year, will be held today, involving 171 units, with a 57 times over-subscription.
SHKP's Acting General Manager Alan Chan said the second round received a total of 9,957 registrations, including 192 proxy tickets, and was very satisfied with the response.
He said that of the 352 units sold in the first round, 40% were from Tuen Mun, 40% from the rest of the New Territories and 20% from Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, making it a "world market", with young customers (under 40) accounting for about 80% of the total.
The majority of buyers used the construction phase payment method, which is very flexible and offers a wide range of options to make home ownership easy.
NOVO LAND Phase 2B will be put up for sale today at 4pm, with two blocks of flats available for sale, Block A and Block B. A total of 50 specified flats will be available for purchase. A third round of sales is expected to take place on Sunday, with additional sales to be confirmed today at the earliest.
