As of yesterday, the first-hand market has recorded over 1,100 transactions in less than half a month, surpassing last month's total of 903, and the first time since August last year that the number of transactions in a single month has exceeded the 1,000 level. The number of new properties sold on these 12 days was even 30% more than the 860 new properties sold in the fourth quarter of last year.

Phase 2B of SHKP's NOVO LAND in Tuen Mun has sold about 95% of its 729 units after three rounds of sales during the month. According to SHKP's Deputy Managing Director, Mr Lui Ting, the development is "getting more and more popular, with 10,000 people rushing to buy it", and over 690 units have been sold in just 9 days, generating over $4 billion in cash.

Including Phases 1A and 1B, NOVO LAND has already sold 2,238 units in less than eight months since its launch, with a total value of over $13.7 billion. He described NOVO LAND as "the most popular property in Hong Kong".

He added that after the completion of Phase 2B sales, Phase 2A sales will be launched, while University Hill at Pak Shek Kok is also in the process of being sold, with a total of 1,539 units in both developments likely to be put up for sale simultaneously this month.

According to SHKP's Acting General Manager, Mr Alan Chan, NOVO LAND Phase 2B had its third round of sales yesterday, selling 189 units on a price list basis, with all units nearly sold out and two large buyers. The largest buyer, who spent over $16 million on a 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom unit, was the largest buyer in the three rounds of sales.
