Abstract: Centaline's top 10 housing estates recorded 3 transactions this weekend, which is the sixth consecutive week of single digit transactions, and 8 estates recorded zero transactions.

Centaline Property's top 10 estates recorded 3 transactions this weekend, 25% less than last weekend, maintaining single digits for 6 consecutive weekends and 8 estates with zero transactions.

Centaline Property's residential department president Chen Yongjie said, due to the unstable performance of the economy, the resumption of normal time, a certain impact on the property market.

The recent market focus on the new market, the fresh demand on the site to seize a large number of second-hand customers, and the United States in the middle of this week to discuss interest rates, strong signals of interest rate increases, a strong wait-and-see atmosphere, so that second-hand transactions remain low hover.

Hong Kong Island, Centaline Property Taikoo Shing area senior regional sales director Zhang Guangyao said, this weekend Taikoo Shing did not record a transaction, the current market wait-and-see atmosphere, the lack of direction of the property market, coupled with the recent transactions in the estate cost is relatively flat, buyers expect property prices will fall, at this stage is reluctant to enter the market. In Kowloon, Centaline Property Tseung Kwan O Metro Station Branch Senior Divisional Sales Director Ke Yong said that the interest rate haze and the new housing market in succession, the new metropolis trading is quiet, this weekend recorded 2 transactions, although compared to last weekend zero transactions to improve, but the overall market conditions are still sluggish.

The weekend's transactions included a mid-rise B room in Phase 1, Block 6, with a saleable area of 364 square feet and two rooms, sold for $6 million at a sale price of $16,484 per square foot.

In the New Territories, Centaline Property's Deputy Regional Sales Director in Tin Shui Wai, Mr. Ng Yiu Cho, said that no transactions were recorded at Kingswood Villas this weekend and only 2 transactions were recorded so far this month.

Due to the interest rate hike on the psychological impact of buyers to enter the market, the United States next week will again discuss interest rates, buyers are now wait-and-see attitude, coupled with the neighboring Tuen Mun new homes for sale, robbed of purchasing power, resulting in the second watch sluggish performance.
