The sale rate was 85.7% by 8pm last night, with rooms J, H and N all sold out.

Baker Circle-Euston sold 84 units last night, comprising 15 open-plan and 69 one-bedroom units, with a saleable area of 214 to 374 square feet, at an average price of $19,453 per square foot and a discounted price of $3,997,800 to $7,865,100.

In March, a total of 2,124 units of first-hand properties were sold, a month-on-month increase and a new monthly high in 28 months, while nearly 3,500 units of first-hand properties were sold in the first quarter of this year.

On the other hand, KOKO MARE, a project of Wheelock Properties in Lam Tin, will launch its first round of public offering today with a total of 138 units, and the response has been overwhelming since it started accepting votes last Saturday.

The 138 units in the first round of public offering include one- to two-bedroom units at discounted prices ranging from $5,937,000 to $9,931,000, with discounted square feet ranging from $17,000 to $23,039 and an average discounted price of $18,386. Mr Wong Kwong-yiu, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Wheelock Properties, said he was confident of today's sales.

As for the sale of Phase IC of The Opposite House at Ho Man Tin Station, a joint venture between Chinachem and MTR, which opens tomorrow at 2pm today, Helen Fung, Sales Director of Chinachem, said that as of 6pm yesterday, more than 5,800 tickets had been registered, which is more than 26 times the number of registrations. The project will be put up for sale tomorrow on a price list for 210 two- and three-bedroom units in Phase IC.

She added that there are many new and large buyers among the ticket holders, and with the renewed support from the large number of buyers in Phase IB, she is confident that the sale will be successful tomorrow.

The 210 units to be sold tomorrow include 142 two-bedroom units and 68 three-bedroom units, with saleable areas ranging from 423 sq ft to 934 sq ft, at a discounted price of $21,601,000 to $29,770,400, and a discounted price of $21,850 to $35,004 per square foot.
