Abstract: A number of new developments will be put up for sale during the "May 1 Golden Week", with Henderson Land, Wheelock Properties, New World, Chinachem and China Overseas Partners Imperial Group collaborating to launch the sales of Kai Tak Skyrocket into a straight line. A VIP night will be held next Friday night and the show flats will be opened for public viewing next Saturday.

Henderson Land's Deputy General Manager of Agency Sales (II), Faye Lee, said Club Knightsbridge, a 70,000-square-foot clubhouse with landscaped gardens, features more than 30 facilities, including a ballroom, a 50-metre outdoor swimming pool, a 25-metre indoor heated pool with views of Victoria Harbour and a fitness room, a British-themed children's playroom, a beauty massage room and a billiard room. The 12,000-square-foot retail space at the base is fronted by a view of Victoria Harbour and the Government's proposed Hong Kong version of "Cherry Blossom".

 

SHKP's University Hill, Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po, went on sale yesterday and SHKP's Acting General Manager, Mr Hu Zhiyuan, said that the first price list to be announced next week will cover as many different household types as possible. The project consists of five residential towers offering 607 units, including Blocks 1, 2, 3, 5A and 5B of The Villas, offering open-plan to three-bedroom units with a usable area of 206 to 851 square feet.

The standard units account for 85% of the development, offering 9 types of flat types. Standard units range from 217 to 640 sq ft in saleable area, including open plan, one bedroom, one bedroom with study, two bedroom, two bedroom with storage, three bedroom, three bedroom with dressing room and three bedroom (one set) partition, while standard kitchen units cover two bedroom partition; approximately 90% of the units are open plan to two bedroom with storage, with the main two bedroom units accounting for over 50%. The buyer, WAN LONG, is known to have the same Chinese and English name as the Chairman and Executive Director of Wan Chau International, and is probably the same person. The buyer, WAN LONG, will have to pay a stamp duty of approximately $6.03 million, equivalent to 4.25% of the property price, which means that he is buying as a first-time buyer.
